Job Overview

Catholic Healthcare promotes dignity, life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communities. As a Pastoral Care Coordinator, you will deliver pastoral care services to residents and clients, ensuring their cultural and spiritual wellbeing.

You will provide personal spiritual support and pastoral care to residents and clients in line with their preferences and Catholic Healthcare's Mission.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality pastoral care services to meet the diverse needs of residents and clients.
  • Support mission formation activities for employees within residential aged care homes.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Certification III or IV in Pastoral Care or related fields in theology or spirituality.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith and its principles.
  • A commitment to supporting the spiritual care needs of the sick, elderly, and their family members.
  • Able to respect the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
