Job Title: Spiritual Care Professional

This is a unique opportunity to work with a reputable organization providing spiritual care and support to clients, families, and staff. The role involves visiting clients in their own homes across the Northshore, offering leadership, guidance, and emotional support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of people living at home with life-limiting illnesses, including dementia, and the impact on carers. They will also possess excellent communication skills, compassion, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of those in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide spiritual care and support to clients and their families.
  • Be the point of contact for internal and external support services.
  • Act as a role model and advocate for the organization's Christian values.
  • Share pastoral expertise and coach staff to support clients' spiritual needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to client care plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement.
  • Theological/pastoral care qualifications and experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity to pastorally care for and enhance wellbeing.
  • Highly developed communication and administrative skills.
