We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pastoral Care Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a caring individual to provide Pastoral Care Services to our residents and clients, promoting their spiritual wellbeing and dignity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Personal Spiritual Support and Pastoral care services in line with the preferences and mission of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal spiritual support and pastoral care services to residents and clients
  • Support mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care
  • Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
