Head Chef

Full-time position available at Macquarie, offering a competitive salary package of $70k - $80k plus superannuation.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced chef to lead our kitchen team and drive the success of Zeus Street Greek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our store and kitchen, ensuring seamless execution of our menu and service standards.
  • Manage key performance indicators, including COGS, financials, and rostering, to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Supervise and coach team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain high-quality food and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Prepare and cook food, and manage food supplies and inventory.
  • Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation, and address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with managers and front-of-house staff to resolve food preparation issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Enforce hygiene regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with the training and development of team members.
Requirements
  • A natural leader with a passion for food and a drive to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Experience in restaurant or kitchen management, with a minimum of 2 years' experience preferred.
  • A positive attitude, with a 'can-do' approach to problem-solving and team management.
  • Ability to build and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
