The Role

\

we are seeking a skilled food services operations manager to join our team in ingle farm. as a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for planning and organising the preparation and cooking of food for all residents. your sound knowledge of menu planning and estimating food requirements will enable you to provide catering services that meet the diverse needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • coordinate effective meal planning, delivery, and ongoing evaluation of hospitality services to residents in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team\
  • plan and provide a range of catering services as required by the hotel services site manager, including special events and functions\
  • ensure that all catering equipment is maintained according to standards and arranges for repair, purchase, or replacement in liaison with the hotel services site manager\
  • assist the hotel services site manager to ensure cost-effective service delivery through sound budgetary planning and monitoring of ongoing operational costs\

About You

to succeed in this role, you will have:

  • \
  • a certificate iii in commercial cookery or community food services\
  • demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen\
  • demonstrated understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement\
  • ability to supervise staff and promote teamwork\
  • demonstrated knowledge of textured modified foods and special dietary needs\
  • knowledge of hazard analysis critical control points\
  • valid ndis worker screening or be willing to obtain one\
