Culinary Services Manager

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Services Manager to join our team at Ingle Farm Residential Care Home.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is around $80,000-$90,000, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you will also enjoy a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
Job DescriptionAs our Culinary Services Manager, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the preparation and cooking of food for all residents. You will possess sound knowledge of menu planning and estimating food requirements, including provision for special dietary needs, integrated with nutrition and hospitality management principles.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating effective meal planning, delivery, and ongoing evaluation of hospitality services to residents in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Planning and providing a range of catering services as required by the Hotel Services Site Manager, including special events and functions.
- Ensuring that all catering equipment is maintained according to standards and arranging for repair, purchase, or replacement in liaison with the Hotel Services Site Manager.
- Assisting the Hotel Services Site Manager to ensure cost-effective service delivery through sound budgetary planning and monitoring of ongoing operational costs.
To be successful in this role, you will require strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality culinary services. You will need to possess sound knowledge of menu planning, nutrition, and hospitality management principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
A relevant qualification in hospitality or a related field would be highly desirable, as would previous experience in a similar role within an aged care setting.
