Job Opportunity

As a Team Leader Project Engagement, you will play a crucial role in shaping how we connect with the communities we serve. You will lead our Southern Queensland team in delivering authentic and transparent engagement that builds trust and strengthens our social license.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by inspiring and leading a team delivering engagement across a range of energy projects. You will oversee strategic project engagement planning and implementation to help inform project progression, create space for meaningful conversations with communities and stakeholders, and collaborate with senior leaders to influence decisions and manage reputational risks.

As part of our Communications, Customer and Engagement Group in the Corporate Services Division, you will be based at our Virginia office and lead a close-knit team of three Project Engagement Specialists. You will join a passionate, purpose-driven group who care deeply about connecting with communities and other stakeholders, and creating lasting, positive impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire and lead a team delivering engagement across a range of energy projects
  • Oversee strategic project engagement planning and implementation to help inform project progression
  • Create space for meaningful conversations with communities and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to influence decisions and manage reputational risks
Requirements

You will bring a passion for building meaningful relationships and leading your team to deliver best practice project engagement. With your deep experience in managing complex projects, you will confidently navigate challenges, inspire your team to create real impact, and protect and strengthen our corporate reputation. Your clear communication and strategic insight will empower leaders and communities alike, driving positive outcomes that matter.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Degree-level qualification in Public Relations or a related discipline
  • Significant experience working in an engagement and communications-based role
