Project Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project manager to lead our industrial boiler and energy system projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing end-to-end projects from kick-off to close-out. They will be responsible for ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery, as well as coordinating with technical, procurement, site execution, and commissioning teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage full project lifecycle from kick-off to close-out, including design coordination, procurement, delivery, commissioning, and reporting.
  • Develop schedules and budgets, coordinate internal teams, and lead project meetings.
  • Monitor budgets, margins, and cashflows; manage variations; and support invoicing and milestone claims.
  • Serve as primary client contact, foster strong relationships, and communicate progress, risks, and changes effectively.
  • Ensure WHS compliance, oversee QA/QC and commissioning, and maintain accurate project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–10 years' end-to-end project management in industrial, mechanical, or energy sectors (boiler/HVAC/mechanical services preferred).
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations.
  • White Card & Construction Induction; Current QLD Driver's Licence.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of industrial mechanical systems.
  • Commercial and contractual acumen (variations, POs, scopes).
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, SharePoint (or similar).
  • Willing to travel across QLD and interstate.
