Program Director Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled program director to lead and manage programs of work across multiple research areas. The successful candidate will have demonstrated planning and organisational skills, experience in delivering large programs with multiple stakeholders and projects, and understanding of research and development processes.

About the Program

  • Lead, manage and be accountable for all aspects of the program/s lifecycle, including developing and reviewing processes within assigned resources and reporting requirements;
  • Oversee program governance with key partners;
  • Identify and manage interaction between programs of work across our major research thematic areas;
  • Maintain, implement and review the operations of program/s, including day-to-day management of program team members; and
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to problems and provide specialist advice to key stakeholders.

About You

  • Demonstrated specialist knowledge in related disciplines of agriculture, natural capital and environment or an area of national digital research infrastructure;
  • Capability in leading strong and high performing multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence; and
  • Relationship management and consulting skills.
