Capital Projects Director

Davidson Recruitment is seeking an experienced leader to drive the Capital Delivery function forward. This newly created senior leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a values-based leadership style, technical expertise in capital project delivery, and exceptional people management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for the Capital Delivery team, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Lead and motivate a high-performing workforce, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, regulators, and customers, to drive positive outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective commercial strategies, leveraging strategic planning skills and commercial nous.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a senior leader in a large infrastructure asset base, preferably within the water or aligned sector.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and strong technical expertise in capital project delivery.
- Exceptional people management skills, with a commitment to enhancing relationships and influencing outcomes through effective communication.
