Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Assistant / Roster Coordinator to join our team at Moran Roxburgh Park home. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the rostering function, managing the Master Roster and working roster, and implementing process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver administrative and customer services to support existing systems and processes, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Respond to daily inquiries from colleagues and customers, providing timely and effective support.
  • Coordinate new employee interviews and onboarding processes.
  • Manage the master roster and working roster, ensuring they are regularly reviewed to meet key service indicators.
  • Assist with end-to-end payroll processing in the absence of the Payroll Officer.
  • Maintain employee documents, including entering new staff IDs in Fingerscan and Rostcare.
  • Collate leave applications and payroll queries.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong planning and time management skills.
  • Able to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Roster management experience.
  • Experience working in a large Aged Care facility (desirable).
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current influenza vaccination.
  • COVID-19 vaccinations.
