The Business Support Assistant / Roster Coordinator plays a crucial role in our team, overseeing the rostering function and ensuring seamless operations. This includes managing the Master Roster and working roster, as well as handling process improvement initiatives and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver administrative and customer services to agreed standards, maximizing service quality and continuity.
  • Receive and respond to enquiries from colleagues and customers, providing a timely, courteous, and effective service.
  • Coordinate new employee interviews and on-boarding.
  • Maintain the master roster and working roster.
  • Ensure rosters are regularly reviewed to meet key service indicators.
  • End-to-end payroll processing in the absence of the Payroll Officer.
  • Maintain employee documents, enter new staff ID in Fingerscan register, and Rostcare.
  • Collate leave applications and payroll queries.

About You

  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong planning and time management skills.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently within a team and independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Roster experience.
  • Experience working in a large aged care facility (desirable).
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current influenza vaccination.
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations.
