About the Role

We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Manager to join our team at Tassal Group.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading seafood company that values innovation, sustainability, and employee engagement.

As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our business units and ensuring alignment with our organisational goals.

You will lead a team of approximately 5 direct reports across Tasmania and Sydney, showcasing your previous experience in blue collar and corporate HR operations.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Operational blue collar and corporate HR management experience
  • The ability to make decisions and take ownership of fixing issues through consultation if required
  • A knack for developing and managing EA strategies and negotiations
  • A clear desire to develop, coach and mentor a team
  • A generalist background in a fast manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • A strong flexible work approach where being agile and responsive is second nature
  • Demonstrated innovation in P&C practices
  • A formal qualification – relevant degree or AHRI certification
  • Full working rights in Australia with a valid Australian driver's licence
