Business Partner Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a Business Partner Specialist to work in partnership with our team to deliver business growth through strategic client relationships.
- Assisting with business development, credit analysis, and customer servicing, as well as actively managing new deals throughout the lending process.
- Maintaining and retaining existing relationships, including helping with the retention strategy for our client base.
The role will support sales and growth targets while providing exceptional customer service to our core client base.
Key Responsibilities:This role includes:
- BUILDING CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS to assist with overall business needs, managing each transaction from application to settlement.
- IMPLEMENTING AND DEVELOPING CUSTOMER RETENTION STRATEGY, including marketing strategy (customer retention KPI).
- WORKING ALONGSIDE ADMIN SUPPORT AND PROVIDING MENTORING AND COACHING REQUIRED.
- MANAGING RELATIONSHIPS WITH NEW AND EXISTING CLIENTS, leveraging internal resources to maximise client satisfaction and retention.
- PROACTIVELY WORKING WITH CLIENTS TO UNDERSTAND BUSINESS OBJECTIVES AND HELP IMPLEMENT PLANS TO REALISE THESE OBJECTIVES.
- LIAISING WITH INTERNAL/EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS FOR EFFICIENT PROGRESS OF EACH TRANSACTION (INCLUDING FEEDBACK TO ALL STAKEHOLDERS AND CLIENTS ON THE PROGRESS OF EACH APPLICATION).
- ASSISTING WITH MAINTAINING AND RETAINING AN EXISTING NETWORK OF CLIENTS.
To be successful, you will have:
- A degree or relevant qualification.
- Cert IV in Mortgage Broking and Finance Broking.
- Relevant work experience in sales or processing roles within broking businesses, banks, or other financial services companies.
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and high expectations in a pressurised environment.
- An entrepreneurial spirit that forms the foundation of our business.
- Strong customer relationship skills and a strong customer service ethic.
- Prior knowledge of the banking or broking industry, the Australian residential and commercial lending market, and the regulatory environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of business analysis, credit writing skills, and approval standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
