Estimator / Cost Planner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Estimator / Cost Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, managing project budgets, and controlling costs throughout the development process.

The role requires close collaboration with the project management team to ensure alignment with project goals and financial targets. Key tasks include conducting cost analyses, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring accurate project financials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cost Management and Control: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct project estimation, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Experience with budgeting and managing project financials, including cash flow projections and financial reporting.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Relevant experience in the construction or property development industry, with knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
