Job Description

As a Career Development Specialist, you will connect individuals with local job opportunities and drive sustainable employment outcomes. You will work closely with participants to understand their goals, address barriers, and develop tailored support plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment services, recruitment, training, or community services and possess strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with local employers and identify job opportunities through networking and business development.
  • Work one-on-one with participants to develop personalized employment pathways.
  • Match participants to suitable roles and provide ongoing support during the recruitment, placement, and post-placement phases.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation aligned with organizational standards.
  • Meet performance targets related to placements, customer satisfaction, and business development.
