**Job Opportunity:** Family Support Specialist
We are seeking an individual with lived experience as a carer, family member, kin or supporter of a young person with complex mental health issues to fill this role.
About the Role:
- Utilize your own experiences to offer support and guidance to families, carers and supporters of young people up to 25 years of age.
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, reporting to a Manager.
- Care will involve the young person, their family, and support networks, combining lived experience and clinical staff expertise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Lived experience as a carer, family member, kin or supporter of a young person with complex mental health issues is essential.
- An interest in supporting others who are caring for their young people is also required.
- Any prior direct experience in a similar family/carer lived experience role would be beneficial.
