Residential Care Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to children and young people.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Deliver therapeutic care to children and young people, supporting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment.
  • Participate in education and skill-building activities, including daily routines and recreational activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans for each child or young person, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and other stakeholders.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • A minimum of Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
