
Industrial Relations Manager

In this pivotal role, you'll provide expert guidance across a wide range of employee relations initiatives, manage disputes and grievances, and lead negotiations with recognised unions and industry bodies. You'll be instrumental in shaping our industrial relations strategy, ensuring compliance, and promoting a culture of fairness, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead enterprise bargaining negotiations and administer industrial instruments.
- Manage employee relations matters including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Serve as the primary liaison with unions and industry representatives.
- Support People and Culture with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Provide coaching and leadership to senior managers and the People & Culture team.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and industrial agreements.
- Compile and present performance reports and contribute to strategic planning.
- Support QHSE improvement initiatives and employment documentation processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Employee and Industrial Relations management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing personnel and driving strategic outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Australian/NZ employment law and IR frameworks.
- Experience in union negotiations and enterprise agreements highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, SharePoint, and data management.
- A confident communicator and skilled negotiator.
- A proactive problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail.
