About the Role:

Mars Incorporated is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to spearhead its External Communications and Public Affairs efforts in the ANZ region. This senior leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to drive business success, foster a positive brand reputation, and lead impactful external communications.

Reporting to the ANZ Corporate Affairs Director, Pet Nutrition, this role requires strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in providing strategic counsel to senior leaders, managing complex issues, and shaping external communications that create impact.

About You:

  • You have extensive experience in Corporate Communications/Marcomms/Brand PR, with a strong focus on external communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • You are a savvy, strategic communications partner with a proven ability to drive advocacy through purpose-led brand, community programs, and sustainability initiatives.
  • You possess excellent people leadership skills, with a track record of leading, developing, and engaging high-performing teams.
  • You are an innovative thinker with a passion for driving business growth through creative marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • You are familiar with the New Zealand business context and possess a strong understanding of the local market.
