About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position that will contribute to the wider business agenda. As a Human Resources Business Partner with Industrial Relations expertise, you will be responsible for delivering on both operational and strategic HR solutions to business leaders and their people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate stakeholder and union engagement strategies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Craft and negotiate enterprise agreements that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Design and manage industrial relations policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide effective industrial relations management, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management.

About the Person:

  • Experience in developing enterprise agreement negotiation strategies and leading negotiations for enterprise agreements.
  • Experience working within a highly unionized workforce and developing effective relationships with stakeholders, particularly with union organizations.
  • Experience in developing industrial relations strategies for a large organization and managing IR disputes, investigations, and disciplinary outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in human resources, industrial relations, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a human resources practitioner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to successfully communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience as a human resources practitioner in manufacturing/FMCG or a related industry with high levels of industrial award application and third-party employee representation.
  • Experience with the application of employment legislation and industrial awards.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee relation issues and conducting investigations.
  • Demonstrated written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
