The Human Resources Director, EU Operations will lead people strategies in support of the Operations function, partnering with senior leaders to deliver on key HR KPIs for the organization. This role will utilize continuous improvement principles to drive problem-solving and innovation.
This position is based onsite at our Clare, Ireland - EU anchor site, with the ability to travel up to 30% to support associates at multiple sites and partner with global business leaders and peers in different time zones.
You will be a part of the Global Operations Human Resources leadership team, reporting to the Vice President Human Resources – Global Operations. Key responsibilities will include the ideation, design, and sustainment of people initiatives, expanding and enhancing our Associate Value Proposition through work in engagement, retention, talent management, DE&I, and workforce planning.
As a Human Resources Director, EU Operations, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement people strategies that drive business results and support the Operations function
- Coach and lead senior leaders through key people-related topics, supporting their skill development in DE&I, Workforce Planning, Engagement, retention, and Talent Management & Development
- Mentor and develop a team of HR Business Partners, empowering them to provide strong support to their customers
- Engage globally in large-scale business and HR projects, leading workstreams and major project components while consulting on others
- Lead through KPIs, using established tools and creative comparisons of data to drive sustainable actions
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence in Employee Relations, Talent Management, Compensation, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and DE&I to build and implement people strategies for the Operations organization
- Maintain and enhance our employment brand in the external marketplace, building our company's reputation through partnerships with schools, DE&I organizations, and local employment consortiums
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of experience, OR Master's/Doctoral degree with 18+ years of experience, including 6+ years successfully managing teams
- A Human Resources background spanning all aspects of the discipline, including employee relations, Engagement, learning & development, talent management, DE&I, and recruiting
- Experience in and understanding of European labor law across major geographies
- Experience working with senior leaders across multiple disciplines, in a matrixed environment using information and influence to successfully navigate change
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical/pharma industry and manufacturing, and/or regulated (FDA, DCAA) industries
- Demonstrated experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement environment
- Change Management certification in Prosci or other similar tool
