
Compensation and Benefits Manager

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our team in a challenging environment.
- This role involves managing the end-to-end payroll process, including employee onboarding, superannuation contributions, salary packaging, and terminations.
- You will also be responsible for processing weekly payments for a large number of employees, maintaining payroll master data information, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to interpret and implement changes to payroll systems and processes
- Excellent communication and computer literacy skills
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as the chance to work with a talented team of professionals.
Benefits:
- Competitive remuneration package ranging from $85,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on experience
About the Role
This is a high-volume, complex environment with multiple awards & agreements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organisation's payroll, HR policies and procedures and onboarding process.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll function including managing new starters, superannuation, salary packaging and terminations
- Use Timesheet management through Employment Hero
- Processing weekly payments for 250 payroll colleagues
- Managing superannuation contribution
- Calculating payroll related statutory requirements
- Maintenance of payroll master data information
- Building trusted partnerships with cross functional stakeholders such as Finance and Operations
- Providing exceptional customer service & support to employees regarding pay queries & concerns
Human Resources Coordination:
- Onboarding process (to be automated)
- Recruitment administration
- Preparation of employment contracts
- Assist in managing HR policies and procedures
- Learning management system management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience gained in a similar environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to interpret and adhere to awards
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid computer literacy skills
