About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Insignia Financial. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a sound risk and compliance culture, and stronger risk outcomes for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in building a strong and highly regarded Risk Management team.
  • Help drive and maintain a strong and resilient culture of risk and compliance, which is embedded across the business.
  • Provide effective Line 2 independent review and challenge.
  • Provide risk management expertise and best practice advice that is aligned to the businesses' risk frameworks and risk appetite.
  • Line 2 oversight of business planning activities, cultivating and fostering enduring relationships with the business.
  • Assist in delivering insightful risk reporting, including to Board and Board Committees.
  • Maintain existing risk tools within the relevant operational risk & compliance system(s).
Requirements
  • Experience within consulting services is highly valuable.
  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
  • Knowledge of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services sector.
  • An understanding of risks associated with multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media and traditional platforms.
  • Strong analytical, verbal and report writing skills.
  • The ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solve in a complex environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive behavioural and mindset changes, across all levels within the organisation and build trusted relationships.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
