About the Role

MECCA Brands is seeking a highly skilled Digital Customer Engagement Strategist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our Digital Customer Engagement team, you will play a critical role in supporting our loyalty and digital engagement objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver customer-centric strategies that utilize customer data to drive meaningful experiences across digital and in-store touchpoints.
  • Work closely with the Beauty Loop Marketing team to lead campaign optimization plans and drive strategies to address key objectives for the Beauty Loop loyalty program.
  • Oversee MECCA's lifecycle program, identifying gaps and opportunities to support the overall experience strategy while developing new customer moments in alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Customer Engagement, Loyalty, and Marketing Automation teams to plan, coordinate, and implement multi-channel campaigns driven by rich customer data in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms and owned channels (email, app, onsite).
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Expertise in crafting personalized, customer-first campaigns and journeys across various channels, including email, push notifications, SMS, app experiences, and onsite interactions, all aligned with business objectives.
  • Proficient in developing marketing strategies and tactical plans that address strategic goals effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of email and app marketing best practices, including messaging, segmentation, deliverability, and compliance with customer privacy laws.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Marketing Cloud).
  • Experience in planning and analyzing optimization tests.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with a talent for influencing outcomes and fostering positive relationships.
