Freight Operations Coordinator

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team in the role of Freight Operations Coordinator, working on the movement and handling of freight across various locations.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement and handling of freight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Key responsibilities include examining and certifying trains for departure, undertaking theoretical and practical training components, conducting brake testing of trains, and effectively communicating with depot personnel face-to-face and via radio.
Requirements- Shunt Qualified (mandatory)
- C Class Manual Drivers Licence (mandatory)
- A willingness to work a 24/7 roster and shift lengths of up to 12 hours
- Strong commitment to safety
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
