Truck Driver Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced truck driver to join our team for local pick up and delivery runs. This is a great opportunity to work with a reputable transportation company and contribute to the success of our operations.

This role involves transporting temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centers, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

  • Safe Work Practices: Demonstrate safe work practices and promote a positive work culture.
  • Temperature Sensitive Freight: Work with and understand temperature sensitive freight, ensuring safe and timely handling.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional manner.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate with depot teams for loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
  • Quality Checks & Control: Complete relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork.

Requirements

  • A current and valid HR, HC or MC licence.
  • Previous commercial driving experience detailed in your resume.
  • Training can be provided if you have limited experience.
  • A BFM license is preferred but not essential.
  • A safe driving record; you will be asked to provide a copy of your driving history.
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
  • Well presented, professional and reliable.
