Job Title: Freight Handler/Inventory Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freight Handler/Inventory Coordinator to manage our freight operations at our Mackay Branch.

  • Coordinate inventory movement, load and unload trucks, and oversee parcel processing records and documentation.
  • Operate forklifts and assist with pallet breakdown, labelling and sorting of parcel freight and cartons.
  • Develop effective logistics strategies to ensure efficient freight movement and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience in transportation management or a related field.
  • A valid Forklift licence is essential.
  • High level of physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive lifting tasks.
  • Excellent knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areas, with ability to work independently.
