About the Role
Shunting and yard duties (including cleaning) are key responsibilities of this position. Ensuring trains are certified as ready for departure is also a crucial aspect. The role involves examining and certifying trains, undertaking theoretical and practical components of the training program, and conducting brake testing of trains.

About You
We are seeking an individual with superior teamwork skills, flexibility, and a high level of safety awareness and customer service. Shunt Qualified and C Class Manual Drivers Licence are mandatory requirements. A willingness to work a 24/7 roster and shift lengths of up to 12 hours is also essential. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving and communication skills are highly valued.
