Remote Medic Role

We seek a skilled Registered Nurse or Paramedic to deliver high-quality clinical care in a challenging remote work environment.

This position presents an opportunity to provide primary and emergency health services, conduct daily medical clinics, and facilitate health-related training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive health care services, including advanced life support and trauma management.
  • Conduct daily medical clinics and manage injuries and illnesses.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers for medevacs and specialist referrals.
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitate health assessments.
  • Facilitate health-related training programs, including First Aid, CPR, Injury Management, and occupational health awareness.
  • Maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard, ensuring alignment with governance protocols.
  • Promote workplace health initiatives and deliver training sessions aligned with organizational strategies.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and CPR Certification.
  • Trauma Qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC).
  • Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in remote health service delivery is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage in multidisciplinary team settings.
