This is an exciting opportunity to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote Northern Territory communities. You will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
The role involves working as a locum nurse in remote NT communities, providing healthcare services to the local population. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- You will work in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team, including Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
- You will have access to cultural orientation and 24/7 support to help you transition into remote healthcare.
- You will receive free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
- You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture and explore some of Australia's most breathtaking remote landscapes.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A current AHPRA registration.
- A minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience.
- A minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
- A current BLS / CPR certificate.
- A current recognised Immunisation certificate.
- A current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card, or willingness to obtain one.
