Procurement Team Lead Position

This is a key role that involves leading and managing the procurement function within our organisation. The position holder will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in managing procurement teams and developing strategic procurement plans. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

The position involves overseeing the sourcing and contract process, as well as analyzing and evaluating tenders and bids. The position holder will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to procurement, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Additionally, the position involves working closely with other departments to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with business needs and goals. The position holder will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for cost savings and improving procurement processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives
  • Oversee the sourcing and contract process, including analysing and evaluating tenders and bids
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to procurement
