Procurement and Contract Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Contract Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving our procurement and contract management strategies.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement and contract management strategies that align with our organizational objectives.
  • Lead the benchmarking and evaluation of contract performance to ensure agreements meet expectations.
  • Report on contract performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the operational management of all contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a central contract register and ensure timely updates.
  • Collaborate with authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices in contract management.
  • Provide expert advice on contract development, implementation, and management, including negotiation and dispute resolution.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completed Level 3 Procurement Certification or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement, contract management, and public tendering principles.
  • Proven capacity to contribute to strategic planning through innovative problem-solving and understanding of contemporary procurement and contract management principles.
  • Effective communication skills to engage stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Negotiation and facilitation skills to resolve disputes in commercial matters.
  • Ability to deliver a program of work through project management principles, negotiation, and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Queensland Procurement Policy and other relevant government regulations.
