
Change Implementation Specialist

This is a key role within our organization, reporting to the Director, Architecture and HPRG Delivery. The Transformation Manager will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities- The Transformation Manager will collaborate with the Director to deliver projects from initial planning to implementation, ensuring well-coordinated and efficient execution of all change aspects.
- Utilizing various project management tools, the Transformation Manager will track project status, risks, and issues.
- Maintaining detailed documentation and writing status reports as required are essential duties of this role.
- Liaising with stakeholders to determine project scope and priorities is critical to success in this position.
- The Transformation Manager will facilitate communication and maintain strong relationships within teams, business areas, and other stakeholders.
- Attending team meetings and acting as the point of contact to report progress and issues back to the Director are also responsibilities of this role.
- Engaging with stakeholders to gather feedback or address concerns is an important aspect of this job.
- Supporting teams in following agile values, principles, and practices is another duty of the Transformation Manager.
- Anticipating challenges, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them are essential skills for this role.
- Monitoring the performance and stability of solutions during the hypercare period to identify issues or areas for optimization is a key responsibility of the Transformation Manager.
- The successful candidate must be an Australian citizen with baseline security clearance.
- A sound understanding of IT delivery processes is essential for this role.
- Experience in building organizational capability and leading change is highly desirable.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize, and multitask across projects in various environments is critical.
- Delivering exceptional results with a resilient and positive approach to issue resolution is key to success in this position.
- The ability to communicate with influence, negotiate strategic outcomes, and manage strategic stakeholder relationships is essential.
- A high level of organization with great attention to detail is necessary for this role.
- Well-developed strategic conceptual and analytical abilities are also required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor and present information to various audiences are essential.
- The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders is critical.
- Adapting to a changing environment and undertaking initiatives to suggest improvements and streamline processes is also essential.
Desirable Experience:
- Project Management certification is highly desirable.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role within the Federal government is preferred.
- Prior experience in the delivery of IT projects is also highly desirable.
