Cash Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cash Control Officer to join our team at Mounties Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our cash handling processes.
Key Responsibilities- Clearance reconciliation and preparation of club banking
- Issuing and balancing floats, including keno, bars, and change bars
- Assisting with the preparation of ATMs and balancing at the end of the shift
- Providing advice and recommendations on process flows and reporting
- Maintaining and balancing all club monies, including monitoring and reviewing cash handling within the organisation
- Recording all transactions and maintaining petty cash records in accordance with club policy
- Minimising the club's cash exposure during operational hours
- Coordinating the implementation of cash control procedures as required
The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Micros POS, and Clubline accounting software. You will also have strong hands-on accounting skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
