Key Account Manager Job Description

Montu is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Key Account Manager to drive growth and nurture existing pharmacy partnerships. As a hybrid role, you will be responsible for acquiring new business while ensuring exceptional service to our existing partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Order Volume Growth: Increase order volume within your designated territory by establishing strong relationships with existing pharmacy partners and achieving monthly targets.
  • Acquire New Partners: Convert leads into valuable partnerships by acquiring new pharmacy partners to the Leafio platform.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate Relationships: Cultivate and maintain trusting relationships between Montu and pharmacy partners, acting as their dedicated point of contact.
  • Issue Resolution: Address partner issues promptly to maintain positive relationships and ensure resolutions are achieved.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and develop new value-added initiatives that enhance the partnership experience.
  • Strategic Planning: Engage in strategic planning to improve pharmacy results and drive mutual success. Prepare and deliver regular reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives for internal teams, stakeholders, and potential use in case studies or training sessions.

Partnership Expansion:

  • Upsell and Cross-Sell: Proactively expand existing partner relationships through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • New Partner Acquisition: Identify, nurture, and convert new pharmacy partners, leveraging industry knowledge and networks to expand Montu's presence.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in key account management, highly desirable if you have experience in Saas, liquor, and beverage industries with a short sales cycle.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in conducting market analysis and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications are a plus.
