Commercial Lawyer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our in-house legal team.

  • The successful candidate will provide timely, high-quality, and commercially focused legal services aligned to the strategic drivers of the business.
  • They will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and offshore regulations.
  • This role involves advising on fund development and maintenance, managing legal risks associated with offering documents, and supporting the marketing team to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • In addition, the lawyer will manage transactional support, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, as well as responding to regulatory queries and managing external counsel.

About You

  • A minimum of 3-6 years' post-qualification experience gained in a well-regarded law firm or in-house environment.
  • Sound knowledge of AFSL obligations, ASIC policy, and Corporations Act requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, able to balance legal risk and business strategy in a fast-paced environment.
