Funds Investment Professional

We are seeking an experienced investment funds professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian funds market and be able to provide expert advice to clients on establishing, raising capital for, and operating funds in Australia.
As part of our team, you will work closely with partners and lawyers nationally on complex transactions and projects, advising clients across various sectors including real estate, infrastructure, renewables, private debt, and private credit.
Key Responsibilities- Advise leading Australian and global fund managers on new product and business development, regulatory change projects, remediation activities, regulator engagement, compliance uplift, and ongoing strategic advice.
- Work with clients to establish new Australian funds, raise capital, and operate funds in Australia.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience gained from working in a funds corporate or financial services regulatory practice from a leading top-tier national or international firm, or in-house team.
- A passion to specialise in investment funds while building generalist expertise.
- A desire to learn and grow independently while maintaining a desire to mentor others and be team focused.
- A proactive collaborative approach with a commitment to providing exceptional client service interacting with the market and building client relationships.
