Unlocking Opportunities in Residential Construction
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/Estimator to join our successful team working with the Director. The ideal candidate will come from either a head contractor or residential background, though residential experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate and liaise regularly with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Assist with procurement
- Ensure that all deadlines are met
- Liaise regularly with site supervisors to ensure smooth site operations and resolve on-site challenges
- Provide assistance through the whole project process from estimation to handover
- Collaborate with consultants and engineers regularly
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management or similar
- 4 to 8+ years' experience in a coordination/estimating role or with a head contractor (ideally with some residential experience)
- Proven end to end project management skills from concept through to completion
- Exposure to program management, managing timelines and critical paths
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Strong estimating and cost planning ability
