Job Description:

This role is a competency-based traineeship that leads to a nationally recognized qualification, Certificate III - Surface Extraction Operations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to commence a career within the mining industry.

Roster Details:

The roster will be an even time 12.5hr rotating day and night roster, averaging 43.75 hours per week including working every second weekend.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A safe and productive work ethic
  • Hold a current Car P2 drivers' licence or higher - MUST be able to confidently drive a manual vehicle
  • Be able to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
  • Provide 2 recent work referees
  • Be able to provide a local residential address
  • Be available to attend required interviews throughout the recruitment process
  • Able to undergo and pass full Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D&A Test
