The position is based on a 2 and 1 roster at a remote underground mine site.

About the Role:
  • Undertake project-specific tasks as directed by the Superintendent.
  • Lead a team of Leading Hands and Electricians.
  • Set an example for all safety procedures on site.
  • Report task status and forecast outcomes regarding time, cost, scope, and quality when required.
  • Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology.
  • Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities.
Key Requirements:
  • Trade Certification/AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
  • NW Electrical License.
  • A high-risk work license with WP class is desirable but not essential.
  • Working at Heights certification completed within the last 16 months is desirable but not essential.
  • CPR/LVR certification within the last 9 months.
  • A current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.
  • A White/Blue Construction Card.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to enjoy problem-solving.
  • Excellent leadership skills in safety.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Previous underground mining experience.
  • Desirable qualification: Mining Supervisor (S123).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams and Excel.
  • Experience using and interpreting Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera).
  • Quality Management experience.
