About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Pensar Construction Group. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of our water and wastewater critical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, designers, and contractors, to ensure project success.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or a relevant trade.
  • 3+ years of full-time work experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Experience in water and wastewater critical infrastructure.
  • Confident with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Experience with project planning and developing work packs and methodologies.
  • Strong financial acumen, managing project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and claims.
  • Sound contract administration capability, including preparation of variations, EOTs, etc.
  • D&C experience is preferable, including ability to integrate multiple designers and understand broad water engineering concepts.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of project safety, quality, and environmental management plans.
  • Experience managing junior engineers highly desired.
  • Willing to travel to regional project sites as required.
