Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Southland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating, planning, and designing water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. You will also have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects and further develop your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and plan water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
  • Model stormwater runoff and waterways
  • Manage contracts, including cost estimating, tender preparation, construction monitoring, and commissioning
  • Lead and manage infrastructure projects
  • Work across all stages of a project, leading and mentoring junior engineers
  • Support business development activities and professional development profile-raising activities, including conference presentations and technical publications

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Natural Resources Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in three-waters engineering investigation, design, and contract management
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) qualified or working towards CPEng
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing
  • A collegiate, team-player attitude
