
Remote Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a skilled Remote Healthcare Professional to work in our Aboriginal community.
- Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services at remote clinic sites and headspace Broome, including emergency care and telehealth clinics.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the improvement of clinical practices.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills with Aboriginal people, and a current AHPRA registration with no conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Services: Deliver high-quality primary healthcare services, managing emergencies in remote settings and contributing to the education and training of future medical professionals.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop high-quality health services, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Leadership: Participate in community health programs and contribute to clinical leadership within the organization.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture, effective communication skills with Aboriginal people, and a valid C Class driver's licence. Previous experience working in remote areas or with Aboriginal communities is desirable but not essential.
