The Kimberley region is a vast and remote area, offering a unique opportunity for a General Practitioner to make a real difference in the lives of Aboriginal communities. This role involves hands-on work, providing comprehensive primary health care services to clients and families. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified General Practitioner who has, or is eligible for, full registration with AHPRA.

About the Opportunity

As a General Practitioner with KAMS, you will have the opportunity to work on a FIFO basis (working 4 weeks on, 8 weeks off), living in a modern, furnished unit in the Balgo Community. This role involves working within remote Aboriginal communities and providing care to patients in a culturally appropriate manner.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and team player, able to work effectively within KAMS's pre-existing structures of governance as part of a multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Aboriginal Health Workers, Registered Nurses, Health Promotion Workers, and Allied Health Professionals.
