About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Mental Health Specialist. As part of our diverse team, you will play a critical role in helping individuals recover from mental injuries and return to work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to workers with mental injuries, identifying barriers to recovery, and developing individualized strategies to expedite recovery and return to work. This will involve working collaboratively with various stakeholders, including claims handlers, medical professionals, and other support services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support workers with mental injuries for the first 12 weeks and at periodic points during the life of the claim.
  • Engage early with all stakeholders to identify barriers to recovery and return to work following lodgement of a mental injury claim.
  • Develop and support individualized strategies based on best practice solutions to expedite recovery and return to work.
  • Collaborate with the Claims Operations Team to gather information efficiently and effectively to accept reasonable and necessary treatment in line with the clinical framework.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation through oversight of mental injury recovery and RTW outcome trends.
