Crop Care and Harvesting Opportunities

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work in our organic glasshouse facilities. The roles involve crop care and harvesting, working with tomato and quke plants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing optimal growing conditions for plants by de-leafing, pollinating, twisting, and lowering
  • Working in large glasshouses with high humidity and warm temperatures
  • Staying on your feet for 8 hours per shift, with regular breaks
  • Performing repetitive muscle load movements
  • Working at heights (depending on activity)

Crop Care Responsibilities

The crop care responsibilities involve caring for our tomato and quke plants, working in a warm and humid environment. You will need to be physically fit, able to stand for extended periods of time, and focus on repetitive tasks.

Harvesting Responsibilities

The harvesting responsibilities involve picking our tomatoes and qukes, working in large glasshouses with high humidity and warm temperatures. You will need to be physically fit, able to stand for extended periods of time, and willing to do overtime if required.

Work Arrangements

Most roles are rostered for 38 hours per week, plus reasonable additional hours as required. Hours will vary according to department and role, most shifts are rostered Monday to Saturday.
