Job Title: Agricultural Operations Specialist

**About the Role**

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled individual to join a family-owned and operated cropping enterprise. As an agricultural operations specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our 1,600-ha farming operation, including crop management, livestock care, and equipment maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the implementation of seasonal cropping plans to achieve maximum yields and profitability
  • Manage the health and well-being of our large flock of sheep, ensuring their welfare and productivity
  • Maintain and repair modern machinery and equipment in our workshop
  • Work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in cropping or livestock production
  • Strong knowledge of crop management and animal husbandry practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manual literacy and basic computer skills
