Sheep and Cropping Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sheep and Cropping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operation, you will be responsible for managing the cropping cycle and caring for our Merino and Poll Merino stud sheep.
In this diverse role, you will work closely with our owner manager to achieve business goals and contribute to the overall success of our farm. Your expertise in sheep husbandry and crop management will be essential in ensuring the health and productivity of our livestock and crops.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sheep and cropping roles, as well as relevant certifications such as chemical certification (Chem cert). You will also possess strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
As a Sheep and Cropping Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking all required animal husbandry tasks for the stud sheep
- Operating modern John Deere machinery and harvesters
- Assisting with general maintenance of farm machinery and infrastructure
- Working closely with the owner manager to achieve business goals
