We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in Mackay. This role involves providing technical support for our systems and collaborating with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
As a Service Technician, you will support both hardware and software platforms, train end users, and develop solutions to meet business needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesBased at our Queensland office in Mackay, your role will include:
- Travel regularly throughout Queensland to provide support for the TyreSense product at mining operations and corporate offices.
- Conduct system audits and health checks, providing recommendations for hardware and system replacements to ensure optimal reliability of the product.
- Perform product installations at OEM facilities and client mining operations, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Train and upskill key end users and assist sales staff with technical queries and application scoping.
- Analyse the value of the product offerings and provide recommendations for product health improvements.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A background in Auto Electrical, Electronics, or Communications.
- Experience with power and hand tools.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to use various software systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to safely handle equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and familiarity with risk assessment and hazard identification processes.
- A commitment to a strict zero drug and alcohol tolerance policy.
- A current C Class Driver's Licence.
